MT. WUYI IS A PURE BLACK TEA FROM WUYI MOUNTAINS IN NORTHERN FUJIAN, CHINA. WE ARE SO HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO INCLUDE THIS TEA IN MS.CATTEA’S TEA SELECTION AS THE PRODUCTION OF THIS TEA IS VERY SMALL AS IT HAS A HIGH STANDARD IN SELECTING THE FRESH LEAVE IN THE SPRING IN PARTICULAR AREA IN WUYI MT.. THE DRIED LOOSE LEAVE IS DARK, LONG AND CURLY.

THE TEA THE TEA IS NATURALLY SWEET AND FRAGRANT, PRESENTS A BEAUTIFUL DRIED-FLORAL AND FRUITY AROMA. THE COLOUR IS CLASSIC RUBY RED, CLEAR AND BRIGHT, WITH A FULL-BODIED AROMATIC TASTE AND A SMOOTH FINISH.


Ingredient: 100% black tea. No artificial flavours or colours. 


WESTERN BREWING

3-4g per 400ml teapot, 90°c water.

2mins per infusion, up to 3 infusions.

GONG FU BREWING

5g per 150ml teapot/gaiwan, 90°c water.

20 secs for 1st infusion, add 5 secs for the next infusion, up to 8 infusions.


Note from Ms.Cattea: Store in an airtight container/foil bag in a clean and dry place, avoid heat and sunlight. The tea can last for years in good storage.
