Prized for its fruity aroma and floral notes, this premium Keemun black tea (祁门功夫红茶）is made in Qimen county in Anhui province. The tea is hand-picked and harvested in the period between Qing Ming and Gu Yu in spring. Its leaves are distinctive – dark and shiny with golden tips – and the liquor presents as a bright ruby colour.
Ingredient: 100% black tea.
3-4g per 400ml teapot, 90°c water.
2mins per infusion, up to 3 infusions.
GONG FU BREWING
5g per 150ml teapot/gaiwan, 90-95°c water.
20 secs for 1st infusion, add 5 secs for the next infusion, up to 6 infusions.
Note from Ms.Cattea: Store in an airtight container/foil bag in a clean and dry place, avoid heat and sunlight. The tea can last for years in good storage.
