This exceptional Oolong tea Mt. Phoenix Oolong (also called Phoenix Dan Cong) comes from the high altitudes of Phoenix Mountain of Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. It has been fermented and baked to a medium degree, and the resulting dried tea is brown to dark, long and slightly curly. This type of oolong tea is noted for its beautiful flowery aroma. The colour is light amber, and sips with a refreshing, soft and smooth taste, sweetly followed by a lingering aftertaste.
Note from Ms.Cattea: Gongfu brewing method is recommended to make this tea, to achieve the best taste of each cup up to 6 brews.
Brewing instructions: Take 1 teaspoon per cup (more for larger cups); 100°C fresh boiled spring water; 1st brew - 15s | 2nd brew - 30s | 3rd brew - 60s or more. Steep longer for stronger flavour.
